What makes our wooden gate systems amongst the best?
We only use hardwoods such as Teak, Iroko and Oak that have a minimum finished thickness of 70mm as these offer a strong level of stability, essential when gates are to be automated. In instances where our underground gate operating system is used, we fit a steel section to the bottom of the gate to both fix the motor drive arm and prevent the gate from twisting under the pressure of the electric motor. All gates supplied have two coats of preservative applied. We select the highest quality hardwoods to ensure a lasting strength and beauty that will provide many years of trouble free service.
After your gates are installed we will discuss with you their longer term service and maintenance requirements and, if appropriate, put in place an arrangement to ensure the longest life and hassle free service from your investment.
